Kinect Xbox 360 sets new record

BBC news announced that Microsoft Xbox has sold more than 2.5 million of its new product “Kinect” designed exclusively for that console.Besides having imposed a record, this system of checks without any control, has become the most requested gift for Christmas – and that it was released less than a month. The big bosses at the company say they are very close to achieving its goals: “Selling 5 million at the end of the year!”.
The advantages of having put on the market such technology is a great step for mankind, in regard to video games and still not forgotten the issue of virtual reality.

If anyone thought the megapixel race was over, it seems that mobile telephony is taking a run, at least that we can interpret the new development which involved walking Sony: a 16.41-megapixel CMOS sensor.The Japanese will take Exmor technology-R (backlight sensor) to a pair of modules for mobile phones coming soon, or devices of similar size. The first (IMX081PQ) have tightened the 16 million photodiodes in a 1/2.8 inch sensor, while the second (IMX105PQ) stays in 8.13 megapixel 1/3.2 inch space.
Thanks to the backlight of the sensors, many compact cameras have improved its performance and sensitivity in low light, so the technology is welcome to the world of mobile telephony. Sony Announces Blu-ray burner BWU-500S

Sony will launch in October a new model of Blu-ray known as the BWU-500S. Internal, of 5.35 inches and comes with CyberLink software for us to make all the recordings we need.The device integrates the ability to record Blu-ray single or double layer at different speeds. It is also backwards compatible with previous different storage formats such as DVD or CD.
Blu-ray RE 2x recording speed, while the single layer BD-R were recorded at 12x and Double Layer 8x BD. CD-RW discs reach a recording speed of 24x while CD-R reaches 48x. For their part, have DVD-RW 6x, DVD + RW and DVD-R DL 8x and 12x respectively. Finally, DVD-R / + R and DVD-RAM have a recording speed of 16x and 12x. Read the rest of this entry »
