The main function of the processor

This is the main protagonist of the story. The processor is basically the “brain” of the computer. Practically, everything goes through him as he is responsible for implementing all existing instructions. While the processor go faster, faster instructions will be executed.Everything should have a cooler processor. This piece (which is like a fan) is responsible for maintaining processor temperature at acceptable levels. The lower the temperature, the greater the life of the processor. Suggested temperature for each processor varies according to the manufacturer, with the mechanism and performance. But 25 C is considered an ideal setting for any processor (and any parts inside the computer, it is not just the processor which generates heat).
It is worth mentioning that each processor has a number of pins. For example, the Athlon XP has 462 pins (this combination is called Socket A) and immediately, is necessary to use a plate-mother to accept that model (the socket). Thus, in assembling a computer, the first decision is which processor to buy, because from there is that the motherboard is chosen, then the rest of the pieces.
