When choosing a video camera
There are many factors to consider when choosing a video camera. In my experience, the most common mistake is not to choose a very simple camcorder but one that is too complicated and ends stored in a closet. The most important thing knows what you’re going to use. The camera has to fit you, not you to it. Like most cameras and even smart phones are capable of taking video with sufficient quality, the video camera becomes redundant.
The main reason for choosing a camera specifically for video is the video quality and recording time, so if you pick a camera for active environments or just for the web, consider the portability and make sure you have a USB connection.
The format is key. It is therefore important to choose a camera high definition or HD.
If you want to record longer with better quality is important to choose a camera with a hard drive or solid state memory such as cameras. Forget the tapes are in the past.
Do not let yourself be seduced by the price: it is better to spend the same money in a simple camera that uses a modern format that antiquated camera has all the functions and for having. This is not a car and you will regret your decision sooner than you think.
The lens is important, but it depends on how you will use. More important than the lens itself is the ability to zoom the camera or zoom and image stabilization system of the image. Some of the solid-state cameras do not bring this function and you might regret the time to edit. Finally comes to choosing a model with a display of good size and good visibility regardless of the conditions.
